The name of the band was formed from a word game between the words “Rim Shot” and “Riddim” which as you know is well known within the reggae industry. The same way you can have a shot of rhum, you can have a riddim shot ! With catchy melodies and conscious, authentic and passionate lyrics, the band gets audiences dancing and transports them to another world. These musicians from different backgrounds, cultures and generations have been expressing their shared love for this music together for over eight years. With a fusion of different genres they have been able to adapt their styles to bring a gentle mix of pop, soul, blues, jazz, funk on a roots reggae twist, providing "one drop" drumming, roots bass line and skank. They happily remember their first "pull up" in London, Brixton.
